BBR TextCompare
We first developed BBR TextCompare in the 2010s to provide a character-level audit trail for on-screen editing (in lieu of manually marking up a hard-copy typescript — yes, that long ago) and we’ve used it to notify proofreading corrections on every book we’ve worked on since then.
TextCompare’s side-by-side report is easier to make sense of than Word’s ‘track changes’, and we’ve progressively expanded its capabilities to compare InDesign files, PDFs, Excel spreadsheets and ebook files.
